Gujarat Titans performance in Ahmedabad in IPL 2023 so far

As mentioned above, GT had won the IPL 2023 opening match versus CSK at Ahmedabad by 5 wickets, courtesy of a blistering knock off the bat of their opening batter Shubman Gill (63 off 36), en route the chase of 179 runs.

The second match at the Narendra Modi Stadium turned out to be the one which the fans would perhaps never forget as long as they are able to recollect the memories of the IPL.

En route the target of 205 runs, the KKR were left to score as many as 29 runs during the last Over against GT – an equation which could only be considered achievable mathematically.

However, Rinku Singh registered his name in the Cricket history books akin an indelible mark of ink, as he smashed five consecutive Sixes during the final five deliveries in the Over bowled by Yash Dayal, to miraculously take KKR over the line.

GT thus, have won and lost one match each at their home ground so far, with five more matches to take place.
