"Hello Southampton": Jasprit Bumrah shares photo after reaching England for WTC Final 2021

Jasprit Bumrah shares photo: The Indian fast bowler took to social media platform Twitter after reaching the venue for the historic final.

Photos of Indian men and women’s cricketers have been doing the rounds across social media platforms since last night. After men’s captain Virat Kohli and head coach Ravi Shastri attended a virtual press conference from the team hotel in Mumbai last evening, a large Indian contingent left for England after some hours.

While the men’s team will play the final of inaugural World Test Championship against New Zealand followed by a five-match Test series against England, the women’s team are on an all-format tour to England where they will be playing a Test match after as many as seven years.

Batsmen Rohit Sharma and Lokesh Rahul and fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah are among the players who posted on their respective social media platforms after reaching England.

As far as Bumrah is concerned, this is going to be his second Test tour of England. In the three matches that Bumrah had played in England in 2018, he had picked 14 wickets at an average of 25.92 and a strike rate of 57.1 including a five-wicket haul in a winning cause at Trent Bridge.
