Hobart Hurricanes vs Perth Scorchers head to head: HUR vs SCO head to head in BBL history

Having faced each other twice within a week a year ago, Hobart Hurricanes and Perth Scorchers will be locking horns for the first time in 2022 in the eighth match of the ongoing 12th season of the Big Bash League.

The last contest between these two teams had resulted in a clinical 42-run victory for the eventual champions. In fact, readers must note that Scorchers have gained a lead over Hurricanes in head-to-head records on the back of winning their last five matches in a row against them.

Much like the last two matches between these two teams, this one will also be played at Hurricanes’ home ground. Having hosted a total of seven Big Bash matches across five seasons over the years, Aurora Stadium will be back in action tomorrow. One of the 17 BBL 12 venues, Launceston will be hosting the first of its two matches on Monday.

A record not doing justice to a home venue, Hobart have won one and lost six out of their seven BBL matches at this stadium. Perth, meanwhile, are yet to register their maiden victory here despite two appearances in the past.

While Hobart have an average run rate of 7.12, Perth are marginally better at 7.16. As far as the points table is concerned, HH are at the seventh position after losing their first match of the season. Defending champions PS, on the other hand, are at the third position post winning their season opener.
