It is said that IPL is won and lost on the auction table, and the mini-auction of the IPL 2023 is yet another opportunity for the franchises to get their combination right ahead of the mega tournament next year. Kochi will be hosting the auction this time around.

The tournament was played with 10 teams last time around, where the new team Gujarat Titans won the tournament in their very first season. Hardik Pandya’s led side has released or traded some of their players, and they will be looking to add some new names to their lineup this time around.

IPL auction 2023 timings

The IPL 2023 mini-auction will take place in Kochi on 23 December i.e tomorrow, and it will be telecasted live. The auction will start at 2.30 pm IST, and its pre-coverage will start prior to it. It is just a one-day auction, and all the players will go under the hammer on the very same day.

After the end of the auction, the teams will be ready to fight in the next edition of the tournament. These auction hours are very vital for any team as the tournament can be decided on that auction table itself. The foreign coaches have started reaching India, and it can be a great day tomorrow.
