Jimmy Neesham BBL Team: J Neesham Big Bash League stats and records

New Zealand’s all-rounder Jimmy Neesham has been roped in by Hobart Hurricanes for the upcoming Big Bash League season as an overseas replacement player. It is not revealed that Neesham will play how many games as he will be playing for Pretoria Capitals in the SA20 League later on.

Hobart Hurricanes’ squad has always been full of star players, but they have not won the title yet. With players like D’arcy Short, Matthew Wade, Tim David, Nathan Ellis, etc in the ranks, the addition of Neesham will certainly make this side a lot stronger.

In the BBL draft, the Hurricanes signed the Pakistan trio of Faheem Ashraf, Shadab Khan and Asif Ali, whereas England’s Zak Crawley came in as a replacement later on. It is safe to say that the Hurricanes have a squad full of T20 superstars for the upcoming season.

Jimmy Neesham BBL Team

Jimmy Neesham has said that he is excited about joining the Hobart Hurricanes for the upcoming BBL season. He has said that the team is full of some strong players, and they will aim to win the title this time around. Neesham insists that he is looking forward to coming to ‘mini New Zealand’ Tasmania.

“I’m really excited to be involved with the Big Bash for the first time this year,” Neesham said.

“A lot of people say Tasmania is a bit like a mini New Zealand, so I’m looking forward to getting over there, meeting the guys, and playing the role that is asked of me for the team.”

Neesham has not played in the BBL before, and this will be his very stint in the tournament. He declined New Zealand’s central contract to play in the T20 Leagues around in the world, and he boasts some really good numbers. Neesham has scored 2934 T20 runs at a S/R of 142.01 and scalped 174 wickets with the ball.
