KKR vs CSK Head to Head Record in IPL History

Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings will be locking horns against each other for the first time in almost 13 months. Speaking of the Eden Gardens, the two teams will be playing against one another for the first time in the last four years.

Played at the Wankhede Stadium, Indian Premier League 2022 season opener was the last match between these two opponents. Although they have lost four out of their last five matches of this rivalry, Kolkata had defeated Chennai by 6 wickets without much discomfort last season. The match, however, is fondly remembered for a Mahendra Singh Dhoni half-century.

It doesn’t need to be told that Super Kings have had the upper hand over the Knight Riders over the years. This domination extends across facets primarily because of an 18-10 overall lead in KKR vs CSK Head to Head Records thus far.

Out of their 76 home matches, KKR have won 46 and lost 30 matches to have a formidable record. CSK, meanwhile, have won five but lost six out of their 11 T20s in Kolkata. It is worth a mention that the home team (8.37) also leads against the visitors (7.54) when it comes to the average run rate.
