Punjab Kings all-rounders Liam Livingstone (0/16 & 40) and Sam Curran (1/46 & 29) vehemently expressed their feelings of playing an Indian Premier League match against Chennai Super Kings at the MA Chidambaram Stadium today. Curran, who has also led Kings thrice in regular captain Shikhar Dhawan’s absence, has picked seven wickets at an economy and strike rate of 9.54 and 27.28 respectively in nine IPL 2023 matches. With the bat in hand, the southpaw’s 192 runs have come at an average of 27.42 and a strike rate of 143.28.
