MS Dhoni Birthday Special Telecast channel: An exclusive TV show is being run to celebrate former Indian captain’s 39th birthday.

July 7 has become synonymous with veteran India wicket-keeper batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni for the legendary cricketer celebrates his birthday on the back of unparalleled wishes from fans all round the globe.

Dhoni, who has turned 39 today, continues to entice heartfelt birthday wishes despite a year-long absence from the sport. Having last played for India during the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, the right-hand batsman hasn’t seen a dip in his fan-following.

Going by the prevailing murmurs around the 13th season of the Indian Premier League, fans should get to see Dhoni take part in IPL 2020 later this year. However, his performance in the cash-rich league is unlikely to decide his international future this time round.

To celebrate the birthday of India’s former captain, illustrious broadcaster Star Sports has been running an exclusive show titled ‘Dhoni Birthday Special’. The eight-day long show has entered his penultimate day today.

The channel showcases some of Dhoni’s best knocks in the last one and a half decade or so to become a source of amazement for the player’s plentiful fans.

Apart from Dhoni’s knock across formats at the highest level, his wonderful innings from the Indian Premier League are also given a slot during the show which aims at celebrating the glorious career of the cricketer.
