During the 20th match of the ongoing 10th season of the Big Bash League between Hobart Hurricanes and Brisbane Heat in Brisbane, Brisbane Heat spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman claimed career-best bowling figures which were also the best bowling figures for a Heat spinner.
Introduced into the attack as a first-change bowler right after the powerplay ended in the fifth over, Zadran created instant impact by dismissing Hurricanes wicket-keeper batsman Ben McDermott (4) with his first delivery.
Having given away only six runs in his first two overs, Zadran sent back Dawid Malan (39) on the third delivery of his third over. With Heat captain Jimmy Peirson calling in Zadran to bowl the penultimate over, the latter didn’t disappoint as he gave away a solitary run for three wickets.

While Keemo Paul (8) became Zadran’s third victim, the likes of Will Parker (0) and Scott Boland (0) soon followed in similar ways to put the 19-year old player on a hat-trick. Zadran, who couldn’t register a hat-trick, was successful enough to pick bowling figures of 4-0-15-5.
As far as the batsmen from Hurricanes are concerned, Tim David scoring 36 (17) with the help of two fours and three sixes played a crucial role in their team scoring 150 in 19.4 overs.
