The biggest T20 league across the globe will return to Jaipur after a four-year gap. 11th out of the 12 Indian Premier League 2023 venues, the city will be hosting the first of its five league matches between Rajasthan Royals and Lucknow Super Giants tomorrow.

Since hosting its last IPL match, Sawai Mansingh Stadium has been witness to Women’s T20 Challenge 2019, an India-New Zealand T20I and a dozen Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2022-23 matches.

Rajasthan, who won and lost a home match each in Guwahati, would be keen to put their best foot forward here. Historically, they have won 37 and lost 15 out of their 52 matches in the “Pink City”. Lucknow, on the contrary, will be playing their first-ever match at this stadium on Wednesday.
