SRH vs KKR Head to Head Record in IPL History

Sunrisers Hyderabad will host Kolkata Knight Riders in Indian Premier League 2023 Match 47 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium tomorrow. The match will be the second match between these two teams in the last three weeks. The match is fondly remembered for Hyderabad batter Harry Brook scoring the first century of the season at the Eden Gardens.

Historically, Kolkata have had the better of Hyderabad in this tournament over the years. A mammoth 15-6 lead across SRH vs KKR Head to Head Records consists of seven out of 10 wins in the month of May.

Having said that, both the teams have won three matches each at this venue. Readers must note that Sunrisers have a tremendous home record on the back of winning 30 and losing 17 out of their 48 home matches. Knight Riders, on the other hand, have won five and lost three out of their eight matches at this venue.

The visitors (8.16) also have a better average run rate than the home team (8.05) here. Slated to play an IPL match in the city after a four-year hiatus, KKR would be keen to register a victory here for the first time in the last half-a-decade. Furthermore, it is worth a mention that Kolkata have won five out of their last seven matches against Hyderabad.
