"We get irritated with his songs": Virat Kohli once revealed how everyone gets irritated with Hardik Pandya's English songs collection in the dressing room

Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya are two flamboyant players of the Indian cricket team, and apart from the cricket field, both of them are quite famous for their off-the-field life as well. Both of them are quite different in their habits as well, especially in terms of song selection.

Kohli has revealed his love for Punjabi and Bollywood songs quite a few times in interviews. He was even seen dancing with Yuvraj Singh on Bhangra beats. Pandya, on the other hand, looks inspired by the west and is more into the English genre of songs. Former India captain, Kohli, also revealed the same in an interview.

Kohli then highlighted that Pandya has an I-pod, but he just listens to English songs. He trolled Pandya by saying that the all-rounder does not even know 5 words from the songs and just dances on the beat which irritates the rest of the players.

“Only Punjabi music is played in the dressing room because not many people carry an iPod now. Hardik Pandya has an iPod and he only has English songs,” Virat Kohli said on the show Breakfast with Champions.

“He does not even know 5 words from any song. All he needs is a beat and he dances. So we get irritated with his songs. That leaves my iPod and I have only Punjabi songs. Some Hindi romantic songs too but mainly Punjabi.”

Currently, Hardik is leading the Indian T20I side as senior players like Kohli and Rohit Sharma are not part of the team. It will be interesting to see whether Rohit and Kohli will get their opportunities in the T20Is.
