The first T20I of the imminent Sri Lanka’s tour of West Indies will commence at the Coolidge Cricket Ground in Antigua in less than 12 hours from now. Known for hosting the Stanford Super Series more than a decade ago, the aforementioned venue will make its international debut with this series.
The three-match T20I series will also restart international cricket in West Indies for the last they hosted an international match at home was before the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic.
In the 11 T20Is that West Indies and Sri Lanka have played against each other till now, West Indies have won five as compares to six Sri Lankan victories. Having said that, the hosts would want to take confidence from the fact that the last four T20Is between these two have been won by them.
It is worth mentioning that this is the first time when West Indies are hosting Sri Lanka for a bilateral T20I series. Sri Lanka’s solitary T20I against West Indies in West Indies had come during the Group stage of the ICC World Twenty20 2010.

As has been the case during the the ongoing international summer season in New Zealand, Sri Lanka’s tour of West Indies will also not be available on television channels in India.
However, streaming platform Fan Code will be streaming the three-match T20I series at a nominal price. Unlike West Indies and Pakistan’s tour of New Zealand last year, fans no longer have the option of buying a pass only for the first T20I. Fans, who wish to buy a pass only for the full T20I series, will have to pay INR 19 on the website or mobile application of FanCode.
It is worth mentioning that Fan Code have also launched monthly and annual subscriptions, details of which can be seen on their website and mobile application.

As far as the fans in West Indies are concerned, they will be able to watch the Antigua T20I on their televisions by tuning in to Flow Sports. Fans in USA will be able to watch this series on ESPN+.
Date and Start Time of Antigua T20I
Due to a drastic time difference, the first T20I between West Indies and Sri Lanka will begin on different dates in India and West Indies. While it will be an early morning contest (03:30 AM) on March 4 in India, it will be an evening contest (06:00 PM) on March 3 in West Indies.
