It took just over 11 Overs for England to score the remaining 55 runs required for victory in the third and final Test match against Pakistan, at the National Stadium in Karachi.

The 8-wicket victory meant that England have now become the only Test side to have whitewashed Pakistan in a Test series at home. Moreover, having played a Test at this venue after 22 years, the visitors have handed the hosts only their third loss in Karachi after 45 matches.

Ben Duckett (82*), who finished as the second-highest run-getter in this series, hit the winning runs for England, to mark a resounding return back to the format.

However, it was a tour to remember for the ‘Player of the match’ and the series Harry Brook, who finished as the highest run-getter in the series with 468 runs across 5 innings, at a stupendous average of 93.60 with the help of three centuries and a half-century.

Brook also became the top run-scorer in a Test series in Pakistan, going past Dawid Gower’s 449 runs in the year 1983.

As for team England, this is their ninth win in the last ten Test matches under the leadership of the captain-coach duo of Ben Stokes and Brendon McCullum. For comparison sake, England had won mere one of the 17 Tests they had played before this duo took charge in the office.
