IPL’s Disciplinary Procedure Commission issued a heavy fine of $50,000 to Warne. This allowed Warne to play his last matches for the franchise.

It was said that Warne apologized to Sanjay Dixit, and considering the image of Warne, he was not banned. However, he was strongly warned that one more mistake will be costly for him.
