Wriddhiman Saha Family: Everything You Need to Know About Gujarat Titans Wicket-keeper’s Wife, Children, Parents, Siblings
Veteran India wicket-keeper batter Wriddhiman Saha yet again proved his class in the Indian Premier League against Lucknow Super Giants. He is representing Gujarat Titans in IPL 2023, but he is originally from West Bengal. Saha is married and has a daughter as well apart from his parents and siblings in the family.
In childhood, Saha wanted to become an F1 Driver but had to switch due to financial problems and lack of facilities for thar sport. He was born in Siliguri in 1984 and his cricketing career started when he moved to Kolkata. Saha even gave up his college studies to make his career in the sport.
Saha prominently played for Shamabazar Club and then for Kalighat in Kolkata. Legendary Australian wicket-keeper Adam Gilchrist is Saha’s idol and that’s why he chose to take up the gloves. After impressing in the local circuit in Kolkata, he finally made his Ranji Trophy debut in 2007 against Hyderabad, where he scored a brilliant hundred.
Saha’s family also played an important part in his journey of becoming an international cricketer.

Prasanta Saha is the father of Wriddhiman and he used to play both cricket and football in leagues in Siliguri. However, he had to quit his sporting dreams to take care of his family. Prasanta then worked at West Bengal Electricity Board. Maitrayee Saha (Wriddhiman’s mother) is a homemaker.
Wridhhiman got married to Romi Saha in an intimate ceremony in 2011. Both of them met on social media platform Orkut and tied the knot after four years of relationship. In 2013, they welcomed their daughter named Anvi Saha. Romi is an entrepreneur and runs a food joint ‘Puran Dhaka’ in Kolkata.
Wriddhiman also has an elder brother named Anirban Saha. More details about Saha’s family are known in the public forum.
Wriddhiman Saha IPL teams
Saha made his IPL debut for Kolkata Knight Riders in the inaugural edition. He was also a part of the first match of IPL history between KKR and Royal Challengers Bangalore but didn’t get to bat.
Saha represented Kolkata between 2008-2010. He has also played for Chennai Super Kings (2011-2013), Punjab Kings (2014-2017) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (2018-2021) in the biggest T20 tournament in the world. Gujarat is Saha’s fifth team and he joined during IPL 2022 mega auction.
