2. Sourav Ganguly

The Prince of Kolkata has attracted millions of followers and is the cynosure of all eyes in the cricketing arena. It was under Dada that India started believing that they could beat their opponents fair and square. Arguably the greatest Indian captain, he has led India to some memorable victories.

It was the fierce and the aggresive brand of cricket that Dada brought to the Indian team. Playing mind-games and getting under the opponent’s skin was something that was completely new to Indian cricket. He was also instrumental in the meteoric rise of stars like Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh and Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

However, it was his comeback into the Indian team after the Chappel fiasco that won him respect all around. This would be one of the highlights of the biopic that we are eagerly waiting for. Hope this soon translates into a movie on screen.
