Cristiano Ronaldo has already done more than enough to earn himself a place among the footballing greats. His sheer consistency and goals when it mattered the most for both club and country has been mind boggling to say the least.

Just take look at his last 12 months. After winning the Champions League for the second time with Real Madrid, Ronaldo led Portugal to their first ever international trophy.

Ronaldo has admitted that his European triumph with his country was the highlight of his legendary career.

After that, he went on to win his fourth Ballon d’Or before he played a pivotal role in Madrid’s successful defense of his Champions League.

Ronaldo scored ten goals from the quarter final stage on wards, which is quite incredible.

He scored back to back hat tricks against Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid before scoring a brace against Juventus in the final.
