Juventus and Napoli played a sensational match full of twists and turns in the Serie A last night. The Italian Champions looked set to stomp over Gli Azzurri going 3-0 up with less than half an hour left in the match. However, Napoli pulled back and scored 3 goals in the next 20 minutes.
Da Silva Danilo and Gonzalo Higuain scored 3 minutes apart to give Juventus a 2-0 lead before half-time. Cristiano Ronaldo then scored in the 62nd minute to seemingly put the match beyond Napoli. However, Kostas Manolas and Hirving Lozano scored a couple of minutes apart to pull the difference back to a single goal by the 68th minute of the match.
Giovanni Di Lorenzo scored their 3rd goal in the 81st minute to level the scores. With the scores tied by 90 minutes, it seemed that both teams would leave with a point each. However, Kalidou Koulibaly scored an injury time own goal in the 92nd minute of the match to give the advantage back to Juventus who registered their second win on the trot.
The goals and the eventual ending have naturally become the talk of the town as the exciting clash made waves for the exciting thriller it put forth. However, a man so accustomed to being in the limelight, has once again found a way to be in the news.
