Cristiano Ronaldo goal Vs Genoa: Juventus star scores from a monstrous shot taken against Genoa to make it 2-0 for his side.
Cristiano Ronaldo scores from a thunderous goal to give Juventus a comfortable lead in the Serie A game against Genoa, as the Old Lady strives to seal another league title.
Genoa and Juventus were engaged in a midfield battle before Ronaldo received the ball on the pitch. Miralem Pjanic gave a pass to the Portuguese star before he advanced towards the opposite 18-yard-box, making him earn the assist.
As soon as Ronaldo found adequate space, he lashed the ball towards the goal and it hit the top corner giving a 2-0 advantage to the Turin based club in the game.
With this, Ronaldo secured the game for Juventus and 20 minutes later, he was subbed off by Maurizio Sarri. The first goal in the game was scored by Paulo Dybala to which gave a comfortable cushion to Juventus before Ronaldo’s goal.

Just before Ronaldo got substituted, Douglas Costa scored the 3rd goal assisted by Dybala. Genoa had no chance to the comeback but Andrea Pinamoni fetched a goal in the 77tth minute.
However, that attempt stayed as a consolation goal and it was too late to match the goal tally of the league leaders. With this, Juventus has 9 games to survive with Lazio lurking 4 points below them.
Any slip up can give the Rome based club to advance on the record time title-winning side. Although Juventus is due to meet Lazio in less than two weeks, as this match could turn out to be the title-deciding match until any prior slip-ups happen.
On the other hand, Ronaldo is competing with Lazio’s Ciro Immobile for the top-scorer award, but the Italian striker has a significant lead of 5 goals over the Portuguese sensation.
