Cristiano Ronaldo: Juventus star says people in Madrid want him back at Real Madrid after the 34-year-old star revealed in an interview.

The Portuguese international left Real Madrid last summer for Juventus after serving for the Los Blancos for 10 years. The Italian club paid a massive fee of €100 million to bring the sensational player to Turin.

Ronaldo had a successful debut season with the Old lady as he amassed 26 goals and 10 assists in 40 appearances for his new club and played a crucial role in Juventus historic 8th consecutive league title. Moreover, his delightful performances for Juventus has made him fans’ favourite in less than a season.

However, in an interview to a Iconhe discussed about Real Madrid fans requesting him to make a return to his former club and his relations with them.

“Spanish people treated me well. I wanted to give them a place to work regardless of the problem I had. It’s something I won’t forget anyway. I go ahead with my head up, my life is an open book. People in Madrid love me. Real Madrid fans know I’ve given a lot to this club. People stop me in the street and tell me to return to Real, they say: ‘This house is yours’. It’s something that I really like to hear”.

After serving the Los Blancos for 10 years, Ronaldo gave them immense amount of success especially four Champions league titles in five years, which also made the historic ‘La Decima’ possibleThe Real Madrid fans would surely love to have him back in the squad after such rough season in La Liga and Europe.

However, Cristiano Ronaldo is showing no sign to leave Juventus this summer and feels satisfied being in Turin. Moreover, Juventus would not prefer sending their star signing away so early, especially on whom they invested massively.

What’s Next?

Juventus has already won the Serie A title and their exit from Champions league ended their season. However, they will be playing a derby match against the city rivals Torino on Friday.
