Cristiano Ronaldo reacts obscenely to Lionel Messi chants

Cristiano Ronaldo reacts obscenely to Lionel Messi chants before Juventus’ loss to Lazio in the Italian Super Cup on Sunday.

Cristiano Ronaldo is a temperamental man and has spoken more openly about wanting to be the best footballer in the world. This is a major reason why he is often taunted with Lionel Messi chants whenever fans desire to get under his skin.

The Portuguese star normally refrains from giving off any reaction to the chants. However, on Sunday when Lazio supporters took aim at him, Ronaldo offered two very contrasting reactions to the chants. The first time around, Ronaldo can be seen winking at fans with a thumbs up. Moments later, he gave in to their attempts at riling him up.

Cristiano Ronaldo can be seen giving a wry smile to the same set of fans he offered a thumbs up to before and grabbed his crotch at their direction.

Unfortunately for Ronaldo, it was the Lazio fans who had the last laugh as Ronaldo’s Juventus suffered a 3-1 loss to Lazio in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Ronaldo was not to very pleased with coming runners up in the Italian Super Cup and was seen taking off his medal almost as soon as he wore it.

Manager Maurizio attempted to reason the loss after the match. He said:

“We arrived at this game short of energy, physically and mentally. This happens. Meanwhile, Lazio are experiencing a moment of incredible form.

“We are sorry we lost a title, but we still have many competitions to play for in the next five months

“There is anger, but crying over it does not solve the problems.

“We did not lose because of the front three, since we conceded the [second and third] goals after I added a midfielder.

“I have a positive record against Lazio, and I don’t think that the players will be influenced by these two games.

“As I said before the game, I don’t think this final can affect the next five months of the league championship.”
