De Ligt to Juventus: Ajax reach accept a €70 million agrrement with Juventus for the services of sensational dutch defender Mathhijs De Ligt.

Matthijs De Ligt was speculated to join several clubs this summer, but in the end Juventus took the lead in the pursuit of the Dutch International.

In further advancements, according to a report by the De Telegraaf, Ajax and Juventus have reached to an agreement of €70 million, as the 19-year-old player near to a move towards the Old Lady.

De Ligt gained prominence after having a spectacular season with Ajax and played phenomenally with Netherlands in the UEFA Nations’ league this summer.

The 19-year-old defender further gained the attention of Juventus, after his goal through header and disciplined defending impressed the officials at the Italian club.

It is also reported that De Ligt is set to earn around €15-20 million annually, as the Italian Champions have also reportedly reached to a personal agreement with the player.

Thus, with this update, it is also being claimed that De Ligt will not join the Ajax squad for the pre-season tour in Austria, and will head to Juventus for his medical, and will soon join his new teammates for the pre-season tour.

The Dutch defender will be a viable addition to the squad, as he has always been able to showcase his talent. Moreover, with the guidance of Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci, he will surely develop his potential further.

Additionally, since De Ligt is a ball playing centre-back, he will definitely suit Maurizio Sarri’s playing style known as the “Sarriball”.
