The beginnings.
Jeremy got his start on YouTube through Hearthstone, a digital card game inspired by the World of Warcraft franchise. Then, he branched out to making Teamfight Tactics content as well. For those of you who do not know, Teamfight Tactics is an auto battler game created by Riot Games & inspired by League of Legends. During this time, Disguised Toast also became a member of Offline TV, a group of content creators who produce collab content on YouTube. This is also when he became good friends with Michael Reeves, Lilypichu, Pokimane, and Scarra, members of the Offline TV house.
Later on, he also met Sykkunno, Fuslie, Abe, Edison, Sydney & other creators through the Offline TV circle. During this time, however, Toast was far from being the phenomenon he is today. At the time, his channel had about a million subs & he streamed most of his content on Twitch & YouTube.

The Big Break: Disguised Toast Net Worth increases
In late 2019, Toast made a big announcement. He was leaving Twitch for Facebook! This opened a new chapter in his streaming career, however, his big break was yet to come.
It finally did come though, almost 10 months later, in the month of August 2020 & the benefactor was Among Us. That’s right, Among Us’s meteoric rise was mirrored by Toast’s own. Early Life & a multinational Past.
All of these achievements of Disguised Toast tend to shine even brighter when you look back at his childhood & upbringing. Jeremy had a multinational childhood. He was born to Chinese parents in Taipei, Taiwan. However, his family moved to Penang, Malaysia before he was even 1 year old. Toast has 2 siblings, a brother 7 years older & a sister, 2 years older.
Jeremy spent most of his childhood in Penang where he leant to speak both Mandarin & English. Then his family had to move to Ontario, Canada after his brother began to attend college there. Young Toast had problems adjusting to life in North America initially. The charming guy you watch on Facebook today was a myth in the shy introvert that migrated to Canada.
