He has been now used as bait for NXT Superstars to settle into their grooves into the main roster with Shinsuke Nakamura and Bobby Roode being the prime examples.

In the backstage interview, It was evident that Ziggler spoke from his heart and there was reality about what he spoke. The fans could feel the pain as they have seen him rise and fall through no fault of his own.

Ziggler further spoke about the loss by stating that he didn’t care what the fans think about him and is frustrated with the streak of defeats he has been enduring. He also expressed his desire to represent Smackdown Live at the Survivor Series and just wanted to use this opportunity to show his loyalty to Smackdown Live.

He finally admitted that he was wrong about Roode and accepted that he was more than just an entrance that the fans all backed.

It is a pretty tricky time for Ziggler in the WWE with his future highly uncertain. It is unlikely for him to be given a title reign since the “New Era” has officially taken over. He is still a valuable asset to the company in terms of experience and putting new talents over.
