The Esports and gaming industry has grown phenomenally during the Covid-19 pandemic induced lockdown. Every gamer follows & watches his gaming icons play and stream on Twitch. This number has only grown due to lockdown. Esports charts has released the numbers for the highest viewed competitive and non-c0mpetitve games on Twitch.

Despite losing its popularity and dropping out of the top 10 in hours viewed, Dota 2 still manages to retain a loyal fan base. These loyal fans are the reason why this immensely complex MOBA game has managed to top the charts in terms of audience engagement. Dota 2 is the most popular game in the EU/CIS region due to the intense competition it has in that area. In other parts of the world, not so much.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is hot on Dota 2’s heels when it comes to audience engagement, trailing by a mere two point. However, in the top-10 watched section, Just Chatting category has taken a massive lead in the number of hours viewed, almost touching 500 million. League of Legends comes in at 2nd, with 794,000 peak viewers and 11.4 million unique viewers

In the non-competitive category, GTA V, Among Us, Fall Guys and Minecraft have reached the top-10 most watched chart for Q3 of 2020.
