Dota 2 DPC Season 2: Sumail to play as a stand-in for Team Liquid’s Boxi in DPC Season 2 Regionals. The latest news from the DPC Season 2 is very exciting. Boxi of Team Liquid is taking some time off Dota 2 to be with his family. The legendary mid-laner Sumail will replace him as a stand-in in DPC Season 2.
It looks like DPC Season 2 is going to get a hell of a lot more exciting. Team Liquid has recruited another god-like player to stand in for Boxi. Samuel “Boxi” Svahn is the off-lane player for Team Liquid. He has decided that he needs to spend more time with his family. Hence, he is taking a temporary break from Dota 2.

Many fans & enthusiast would be surprised at this decision as it comes ahead of the 3rd week of games in DPC Season 2. Team Liquid has won 1 game out of the two they have played so far. In the first week, they fell to Alliance 1-2, but in Week 2 they won against Nigam.
So, this third game could be crucial to deciding how they will place on the Group table at the end of this round.
Sumail will replace Boxi in Team Liquid; Alliance tops the table in DPC Season 2
Sumail, one of the most famous Dota 2 players, will take Boxi’s place. Although he isn’t a typical off-lane player, Sumail’s prowess & Team Liquid’s coordination gameplay should make it a pretty easy role to fit into.
Liquid is also known for a lot of lane-swapping & role-swapping shenanigans, and Sumail is no doubt highly versatile. This being said, it will be really interesting to see Sumail in action again. Liquid take on Brame on April 27th in Week 3 of DPC Season 2.

Alliance will be pretty happy having already played Liquid. Now, they don’t have to face Sumail again. They currently sit at the top of the Group table. But, with 4 more games left at least, this could change very quickly.
