Dota 2 News Update: Nikola “LeBronDota” Popović’s Spider Pigzs disbands its Dota 2 roster

Dota 2 News Update: Nikola “LeBronDota” Popović’s Spider Pigzs disbands its Dota 2 roster. Players of European Dota 2 second division team Spider Pigzs have decided to go there separate ways. They have been competing as a roster for the last 8 months. Read more to find out why they have made this decision.

In a rather surprising move, the EU second-tier Dota 2 team Spider Pigzs, led by Nikola “LeBronDota” Popovic has disbanded. This comes as a shock because they have already secured a place in the second division for the Dota Pro Circuit next season. Hence, this news is extremely shocking and unexpected.  For the last 8 months, the roster has been competing together as Tempo Esports & Spider Pigzs.

Spider Pigzs was a part of the second division of the Dota Pro Circuit in the European region. Their performance wasn’t extraordinary, but they came in 5th, thereby securing a spot to compete again in Season 2. LeBron announced this massive decision by taking it to Twitter.

As you can see from the above tweet, the reason for the disband is the fact that Spider Pigzs did not achieve any of the goals they had set for themselves before entering the DPC. Hence, the roster will finish the current set of games, and they will go their separate ways to find new prospects.

Spider Pigsz disbanded roster

The roster of Spider Pigzs comprised of the following members, who will now have to find new teams to stick with:

  1. Stoyan “lil  pleb” Postov
  2. Tony “No!ob” Assaf
  3. Nikola “LeBronDota” Popović
  4. Dino “dnz”  Šavuk
  5. Damir “mitch” Škaričić

Lil pleb, who was earlier a part of Cyberium, will now return to his former squad after finishing the rest of the games Spider Pigzs have. The others will be free agents, and will probably look to join another team before Season 2 of DPC begins.
