Dream11 Prediction SL vs NZ: Best Dream11 team for today’s Sri Lanka vs New Zealand Match 3 | TSR helps you with Dream 11 for CWC 2019.
The World Cup is well under way and in the 3 rd match, New Zealand will play against Sri Lanka in what will be the first match for both teams. While New Zealand are the favourites to win this one, Sri Lanka might spring a surprise and get the first points on the table.
Dream11 Prediction SL vs NZ
Bowlers for SL vs NZ Dream11 team
On a pacey Cardiff pitch, I have gone in with 3 quicks for this match. Lasith Malinga, the Sri Lankan legend, is in my team. Of late, he has been bowling really well especially at the death. He has mastered the art of slower ball and has been deceiving batsmen a lot.
Malinga’s in for sure along with the left-arm pacer, Trent Boult. He seems to be in great form with the ball. Even in the warm-ups, he was lethal while bowling and picked up 4 wickets in each of the games. He is getting a lot of assistance and he needs to be in at ant cost.
My last pick here would be Lockie Ferguson. He can regularly bowl over 150 kph and trouble the batsmen on a fast track at Cardiff. His extra yard of pace may hold him in good stead to pick up some wickets.
All-rounders for SL vs NZ Dream11 team
James Neesham is most certainly going to play a big role in the Kiwi team. He has been bowling some good lines and making many batsmen uncomfortable. He has picked up 4 wickets in 2 warm-up matches and has also scored a handy 20 in the lower middle order. He can be the fantasy game-changer of the match.

Sri Lanka’s Dhananjaya de Silva also makes my team alongside Neesham. De Silva has been having a good run with the ball especially. He has picked up lots of wickets at critical junctures. He can also tonk the ball at the end and play a good cameo.
Wicket-keepers for SL vs NZ Dream11 team
Kusal Mendis is my first choice as wicket-keeper. He has been batting well in the middle order and has stabilized the Lankan ship on many occasions. I expect him to come good here.
Now, my second wicket-keeper is going to be Tom Blundell. He really impressed everyone in the second warm-up where he scored a fantastic century in a losing cause. He went at a strike rate of almost 120 and built an important partnership with his captain.
If Blundell is benched, I would go with Kusal Perera who can contribute a lot while opening the batting. He has not been in great form but he would want to step up in these big matches and show his class.
Batsmen for SL vs NZ Dream11 team
I have gone in with the big names for this match. They have all been in pretty good form over the past few months. Kane Williamson is one of the most dependable and trustworthy batsmen of modern cricket. He can be the anchor and play a big innings like he has done so frequently. With over 150 runs in 2 warm-up matches, we can see the kind of form he is in.
Ross Taylor has been one of the most consistent cricketers in the world over the years. He always manages to score some big runs like he did against India in the warm-up match where he scored a solid 71.
Angelo Mathews is my next batsman. He has been a great cricketer for Sri Lanka and one of the last standing cricketers from the Jayawardena-Sangakara era of Sri Lankan cricket. Mathews is a top batsman and is expected to score some significant runs in the middle order. He will be expected to guide the young team as well.
For my last pick, I will go with Martin Guptill if Tom Blundell is in my team. Guptill can tear apart the weak Sri Lankan bowling attack and hence, I get him in for this match definitely. The pitch will also suit him as the ball will come onto the bat.
However, if Kusal Perera makes it to my team, I have to make peace with picking Colin Munro instead of Guptill due to budgetary constraints. Munro can also be very destructive at the top of the order.
