EA Sports FC confirms the addition of Spanish and German women’s leagues

Football is seen as a sport for all devoid of gender, and EA Sports FC is making sure to give the spotlight to all equally. In a recent press event, the publishers revealed the addition of Spanish and German women’s leagues in the upcoming football game.

EA Sports included women’s teams from various parts of the world in the game for a long time internationally. However, in 2023, the publishers are moving forwards with a bigger plan of giving women’s football more recognition.

The announcement was made in the presence of UEFA Women’s Champions League winner, Alex Scott on the stage. Here’s every detail you need to know about the reveal that happened during the livestream about the inclusion of women’s football.

Liga F and Frauen-Bundesliga join the catalog of leagues the EA Sports FC 24

The UEFA Women’s Champions League consists of various female-only teams spreading all across the European continent. The franchise included women’s leagues in the past like WSL and Division 1 Féminine. With EA Sports FC 24, more women’s leagues will be added upon release, them being Lifa F and Frauen-Bundesliga.

This addition will include the addition of famous women’s teams like FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and more. All of this was possible through the deep collaboration with La Liga which is one of the largest watched leagues.

EA Sports FC 24 will also allow the inclusion of women players in the Ultimate Team as well. Players will able able to create teams that can have both men and women on the same side together. Thus unlocking possibilities for creating a more dynamic squad, which is unique and functioning.

This is a big step from the publishers as it has never been done before in any existing football game in the market at the moment. EA Sports FC 24 will be released on September 29, 2023, globally on all platforms. However, players can enjoy early access from September 22, 2023, if they pre-order the Ultimate Edition.
