Real Madrid and PSG had an intense match in the 5th matchday of the Champions League group round and the game was pretty intense as both the sides fought to and fro to give a 2-2 scoreline by the end of regular playing time.

The French giants were already qualified for the next round before the start of the game. On the other side, Real Madrid just needed a point just to ensure their qualification but by the end of the match between Galatasary and Club Brugge, they instantly got the qualification.

Amidst all of this, the match between PSG and Real Madrid was quite entertaining, and Eden Hazard once again came into the highlight as he nutmegged the referee in a build-up play to Real Madrid’s goal.

Hazard’s brilliant run which saw him beat two men in his own half was followed up by nutmegging the unknowing Artur Soares Dias. He managed to feed the ball out to the right-hand side leading up to Benzema’s goal.

The performance by Hazard in the first half of the game is signalling that the Belgian International is finally settled with his side and have dealt with the transition. However, his splendid performance did not last long.

The 28-year-old left the pitch injured in the second half, Zinedine Zidane’s side dominated the first half at the Bernabeu but there was VAR controversy towards the end of the half.

Los Blancos thought they were down to ten men after Thibaut Courtois was given his marching orders for taking down Mauro Icardi. But instead of awarding a penalty and a red card, the play was pulled back to the halfway line for an Idrissa Gueye foul on Marcelo. Hence, puzzling the viewers across the globe.
