Ejector Among Us: How & what is the ejector system in Among Us? Why is this long-lived, fundamental feature, suddenly the cause of curiosity among fans?
A game that is 2 years old & a craze that is 2 months old, Among Us has had quite the journey. This Imposter-Crewmate Indie title, with basic Mafia elements, has entertained players all over the world. And ever since it’s rise to fame in early August, Among Us has pulled off a great many feats. Nurturing new streamers, helping Americans vote, boosting the creative juices among fans, the game’s influence has been manifold.
However, why are fans suddenly interested in the ejector system in Among Us?
Ejector Among Us: Not about the game’s ejection system.
Most of you have been playing the game for a while now. So, you’re definitely aware of the game’s basic features – the tasks, voting, sabotage and all of that (if you’re not, check them out from the links). The ejector system shouldn’t be any surprise to you, therefore. It is simply an alternative term used to describe the action of voting people off in the game. And I’m sure most of you know how that works, right?
In case you don’t however, there’s a guide below. But first, let’s find out what Ejector Among Us is all about.
What is the deal?
The Ejector Among Us is a new web app that allows you to design your own cool Among Us ejection GIFs. Among Us is certainly not new to mods. Easily one of the more customisable games out there, the game has seen a fair share of them. 100 player lobbies, a pink-themed mode etc are just a few to name. Therefore, this one is yet another one in a long list.
Whether it is safe to use or not is, unfortunately, something we don’t know yet. However, availing the feature is pretty simple. Just head on over to this link, fill in the necessary details & you can download your custom GIF soon after.
How does the ejector system/ voting work?
An ejection in Among Us is very simple. Players in a lobby come together for a meeting once an emergency is called or a dead body is reported. Then, players discuss the possible suspects in chat for a few minutes in what is termed as discussion time. During this period, voting is disabled and the term “Voting Begins in ## seconds” appears at the bottom-right of the screen.
Once discussion time is over however, voting begins. During the voting hour, players can keep discussing but can also vote for their suspect by tapping on them.
Once the voting session ends, the person who received the most votes is ejected. After this, they can roam around the map as a ghost, fulfilling their respective Imposter or Crewmate duties.
