ENG vs IND Dream 11 Prediction: Best Dream11 team for today World Cup match | England vs India as TSR helps you with Dream 11.

The 38th match of the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 will be played between England and India at Edgbaston today. With the home team in England taking on the only unbeatable team in the tournament in India, expect the match to be a humdinger of a contest.

What further adds fuel to the contest is the fact that it is a near must-win match for England. A loss for them will make things really difficult for them as far as qualifying for the semi-finals is concerned.

It is worth mentioning that making a Dream11 fantasy team for this match is no mean task. Given the status of the players and their credits involved, it is nearly impossible to have all your first-choice players together at the same time. Hence, be ready to make some compromises!

ENG vs IND Dream 11 Prediction

Wicket-keepers for ENG vs IND Dream 11

My first wicket-keeper batsman for this match is England’s Jos Buttler, who fought a tough battle with his fellow wicket-keeper batsman in Jonny Bairstow. Both the swashbuckling batsmen haven’t done justice to their potential at this point in time. While Bairstow has scored a few more runs, Buttler has a better average and a strike rate.

I am going for the latter for he might change the course of the match on his own today. Had it not been a budget constraint, I would have picked both Bairstow and Buttler. With the former costing me half a credit extra, I have decided to proceed with veteran India wicket-keeper batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

In 47 ODIs against England, Dhoni has scored 1,504 runs at an average of 45.57 and a strike rate of 87.08 including a century and 10 half-centuries.

Batsmen for ENG vs IND Dream 11

In Joe Root and Virat Kohli, two of the world’s best batsmen will be taking the field in Birmingham today. In such a situation, it becomes imperative for me to pick both of them in my team. Given their record and recent form, there are fair chances of them putting on a show today.

At 8.5 credits, India opening batsman Lokesh Rahul has it in him to become my budget buy for the day. Having scored 172 runs in five matches at an average of 43 and a strike rate of 71.66, all Rahul needs to do is convert his starts into a substantial score.

All-rounders for ENG vs IND Dream 11

Having scored 291 runs in seven ODIs at an average of 58.20 and a strike rate of 90.93 including three half-centuries, England all-rounder Ben Stokes is their second-highest run-scorer in the ongoing tournament. Him also dismissing six batsmen so far speaks highly of his dual abilities on a cricket ground.

England all-rounder Moeen Ali was recently vocal about aiming to dismiss India captain Kohli. Having caused troubles for Indian batsmen including Kohli in the past, Ali would be looking to make optimum use of the surface assisting spinners today.

From former England batsman Kevin Pietersen to Kohli, several illustrious names have been admiring India all-rounder Vijay Shankar. I admit that his price of 8 credits allured me more than his ability but Shankar has it in him to yield positive results for you. Don’t ignore him!

Bowlers for ENG vs IND Dream 11

Having picked 10 wickets in five matches at an average of 24.10, an economy rate of 5.47 and a strike rate of 26.4, India leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is the only spinner in the list of Top 12 wicket-takers in this tournament.

Among the fast bowlers, I have picked both the sensational right-arm bowlers in Jofra Archer and Jasprit Bumrah. While Archer has dismissed 16 batsmen in seven matches, Bumrah has accounted for nine dismissals in five matches. Both the exceptional death bowlers have easily found a space in my Dream11 fantasy team.

Although unlikely, one can’t deny that Archer might miss this match due to a niggle. If the same happens, make sure that you make the appropriate change post the toss. You can bring in either one out of Mark Wood or Chris Woakes as Archer’s replacement. While Wood has picked up more wickets, Woakes has more points because of his batting skills.

In such a scenario, you will be left with half-a-credit with you. If you want, you can use that credit to buy Bairstow (9 credits) ahead of Dhoni (8.5 credits).

ENG vs IND Fantain Prediction

I usually field the same team in Fantain Prediction as well. However, a budget constraint made things difficult for me. In a surprising turn of events, I have selected Biarstow over Dhoni primarily because of the former’s low price. If you are against playing seven English players, you can try picking an Indian player as Archer’s replacement.
