The ESL One Germany has finally started & on the opening night, Ninjas in Pyjamas dominated both games against 5men. The B03 series started off pretty evenly for both 5men & NiP. However, after the lanes collapsed, NiP turned up the heat around the 20 minute mark.
5men’s strategy to pair up Ace on Gyrocopter & PieLieDie on the Io did not really prove effective. Xibbe, who played Timbersaw showed some signs of a fightback, but NiP soon killed him off, exposing 5men’s base. Charlie for NiP on the Lifestealer sealed off Game no. 1 with a nice rampage.

Game 2 seemed to be nothing but a Deja Vu of Game 1 as Charlie began to dominate on the Lifestealer yet again. However, this time 5men were able to hold their ground for a bit longer. While the first game lasted 32 minutes, 5men managed to take Game 2 just past the 50-minute mark before their base crumbled around them
