F1 Fans Decode Lewis Hamilton Pay Tribute to LBJ and Kobe with New Monaco GP Stylish Out

After having a look at Lewis Hamilton’s style for the Monaco Grand Prix this weekend, several fans believe that he is either paying a tribute to LeBron James or Kobe Bryant. The 38-year-old wore number 24 on the back, which was the jersey number of Bryant at the Los Angeles Lakers.

And Hamilton also wore 23 on the front, which James wore while playing for the Cavaliers (before moving to 6). Since legendary basketball player Michael Jordan also wore 23, some fans have also speculated that the Mercedes driver could also be paying a tribute to the six-time NBA champion.

F1 fans attempt to decode who is Hamilton supporting this week

Some fans such as Gerry believe that Lewis Hamilton is giving his support to LeBron James at the Monaco Grand Prix this weekend.

Meanwhile, some other F1 fans believe that the 38-year-old was perhaps paying tribute to both Michael Jordan (23) and Kobe Bryant.

And then there were some fans such as Dennis and Paul who shared some hilarious reactions. Dennis stated that Hamilton may just be giving a shoutout to former Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg for his 23 F1 race wins. On the other hand, Paul hilariously claimed that Hamilton is perhaps supporting Liverpool legend, Jamie Carragher.
