Mercedes star Lewis Hamilton is quite outspoken about the societal and environmental issues in the world. He even tries to do as much as he can to make the world a better place.
In collaboration with the Mercedes F1 team, he launched his initiative Mission 44 to combat discrimination in society. He also set up the Hamilton Commission to promote diversity in the sport.
Talking about the problems, discrimination and disparity in the world, in the Jay Shetty podcast, Hamilton said that if he could he would enact a law to fight the disparity in the world.

Lewis Hamilton struggles with people making billions of money
Hamilton recently visited a school in Brazil to talk to the students and inaugurate a mural created by a Brazillian artist when he was honoured with Brazillian citizenship in the 2022 season.
Also as part of his Mission 44 campaign, he visited the Kingsford Community School in London. It was done in partnership with teach first UK and the goal was to increase the number of teachers of colour in STEM schools.
Hamilton himself has been brought up in a humble background. He often recalls the moment when his father used to work multiple jobs in a day to ensure that his son gets to achieve his racing dream.
Speaking to Jay Shetty, the Briton said that one of the things that he struggles with every day is that there is so much disparity between the wealthy and the poor.
“You shouldn’t be able to have billions, there should be a limit on how much you can have,” added Hamilton who has a net worth of $285 Million.
“There’s enough to go around for everyone, somehow that creates more equality. And equal access for everyone. I don’t know how you’d implement that one but geesh, I’ve met kids that are starving… and you think we’re so so lucky, so many of us.”
