7x Champion Lewis Hamilton Misses “Silly Times” With His Favorite Girl

Lewis Hamilton is a proud dog owner and his pet Roscoe is a mascot in the F1 paddock. You would always see the Mercedes driver walking his dog on the paddock during race weekends.

Not long ago, the 7x world champion had 2 pet dogs, Roscoe and his late bulldog Coco. Coco died in 2020 due to a heart attack. But her memory still thrives within the F1 driver’s heart.

Lewis Hamilton shares a throwback video of Coco and Roscoe

It is almost 3 years since Lewis Hamilton announced the demise of Coco. The Mercedes driver cherished the memory of his late dog with a heartwarming photo taken a couple of years ago of both his dogs dressed up in costumes.

The photo was shared by the 7x world champion on the ‘Roscoelovescoco’ account. The Briton captioned the throwback picture with, “Missings silly times with Coco.” He also added a cute little video of Roscoe and Coco chasing and playing with him.

Hamilton’s love for Coco always gets lost as his vegan bulldog Roscoe gets all the limelight. However, it was good seeing the Briton still keeping his old girl’s memory alive.

How did Coco die?

Lewis Hamilton adopted Coco and Roscoe from the same breeder in 2013. However, she died at Hamilton’s home on June 19th after an unsuspected heart attack. Coco was only 6 years of age at the time of her death.

The Briton claimed her last day was filled with joy and happiness in an Instagram post. He wrote, “On her last day, we shared a special moment playing together which I will never forget. I will miss her snoring and how happy she was always to see me. “

He also shared that Coco’s breeder would have likely had to put her down had Hamilton not adopted her. The Briton has tattooed his late dog’s name on his left-hand pinky.
