The Monaco Grand Prix is frequented by a lot of celebrity guests every year. The luxury and the grandeur of the race are unmatched, and stars from all walks of life descend on Monaco during the Grand Prix weekend. One such star who attended the 2023 edition of the Monaco GP was American actor Noah Schnapp. However, the Stranger Things star sent fans into a frenzy when he confirmed that he was a loyal Charles Leclerc fan.

Fans got to know about Schnapp’s attendance at Monaco for the first time through his own Instagram story. Schnapp had uploaded a story that showed him on a boat that had a flag with Leclerc’s name on it. He was also wearing a pendant from the brand APM Monaco, which has Leclerc as its ambassador. All of this had already made it kind of evident that Schnapp was at Monaco to support Leclerc.

The reason why this was even more amusing for fans is that Noah Schnapp has been considered to be a lookalike of Charles Leclerc for a long time. Even before the two stars had any possible connection between them, fans have stated that the duo are doppelgangers. Some fans even went to the extent of claiming that Schnapp must play the role of Leclerc in his biopic if he ever makes one.

Noah Schnapp was left starstruck by Charles Leclerc

Noah Schnapp won over the hearts of numerous Formula 1 fan when a video of him completely starstruck by Leclerc emerged on the internet. Even though Schnapp himself is a renowned celebrity, he was spellbound when he saw Leclerc up close. The video showed Schnapp exclaiming, “I just met Charles Leclerc! I’m freaking out“, something all Leclerc fans can relate to.

In another video, Schnapp was seen talking about his experience in Monaco. He revealed that it was his first time visiting a race and that he is a huge fan of Leclerc. The American explained that Leclerc had set him up with APM Monaco. The jewelry brand had then arranged his whole visit to Monaco.

Noah also made it very clear that he would be supporting no one other than Leclerc at the race. He explained that he had learned about Formula 1 because of the Netflix series ‘Drive to Survive’. And ever since he discovered the sport, he has been hooked on it.

Schnapp was spotted with Charles Leclerc after the race

Noah Schnapp finally got to spend some quality time with his hero after the Monaco Grand Prix was over. He was seen hanging out with Leclerc and his brother in Monaco at night. The duo also attended a party hosted by APM Monaco.

The internet was filled with pictures of the duo sharing some moments together.

It is very evident that Noah Schnapp has ended up as a fan favorite for the way he behaved when he met with Leclerc. Most fans could relate to him as they would also freak out if they got to meet their hero. It’s also clear how much impact ‘Drive to Survive’ had on the popularity of the sport.
