Christmas comes early for Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz Jr. He finally received his customized Ferrari 812 Competizione five days before Christmas as he wore his Santa hat staring at his new car.
Carlos Sainz Jr is a part of Ferrari for two years now and is a crucial driver of the team. Replacing Sebastian Vettel is a task and the Spanish driver is filling in the shoes in his own way.
The Ferrari driver won his first race at the 2022 British Grand Prix after qualifying on the pole as well. He finished fifth in the world championship and extended his contract with the Italian outfit until 2024.
Carlos Sainz Jr’s shift from a Volkswagen to Ferrari
Carlos Sainz Jr’s dad gifted him a Volkswagen Golf when he joined Formula One. During his time in Toro Rosso and Renault, he still drove a Golf car.
Coming to Ferrari did bring a change, it was time for Sainz to retire his Volkswagen for something new. That something new was a big leap from a historical car on the verge of its collapse to something really brand new.
The Spanish driver got himself a brand new Ferrari 812 Competizione that launched in 2021. This car is a limited edition with only 999 available in the market for lucky people around the globe.
