Charles Leclerc has recently opened up on the dream that an F1 driver sees in his lifetime. Leclerc, who drives for Ferrari and believes he can win titles with them, revealed that every driver would love to drive for the Italian team someday.

As per tami on Twitter, Leclerc spoke to BILD where he shared his thoughts on the team and therefore, the dream. When asked about his Ferrari future and championship chances with the Prancing Horse, the Monegasque delivered a positive response.

Leclerc said that he can win the championship with Ferrari, as he dreams of it. He dreams of winning the championship in a red race suit and getting out of a red car. Following this, the 25-year-old talked about every driver’s dream. Leclerc said that not every driver can say it openly, but they surely dream to drive for Ferrari.

Leclerc snubbed Red Bull’s move to win the championship

Red Bull has been the force to reckon with, as the new regulations were rolled out in 2022. The Austrian team had been demolishing the opponents in every race, and Ferrari could do little to stop them.

Despite all of this, the Monegasque pilot put his allegiance with the Prancing Horse. When asked by BILD if he needs to switch to the Milton-Keynes-based team to be world champion according to experts, will he do it, he promptly said, “No.

The former Alfa Romeo pilot finished his best season with Ferrari in 2022, after joining the team back in 2019. Despite having the potential to win the championship last season, Leclerc couldn’t cope with Max Verstappen and his RB-18.

The Monegasque driver snubs the Mercedes switch

In the latest development, Charles Leclerc has snubbed the rumors of a switch to Mercedes. As per the rumors, the Monegasque driver was linked with a sensational move to Mercedes to replace Lewis Hamilton.

The rumors found traction as the seven-time world champion is delaying contract extension with the Silver Arrows. Leclerc, upon hearing the rumors, decided to address them and snub them altogether.

The 25-year-old driver said that he didn’t have any words with Mercedes higher-ups or Toto Wolff in this regard. He’s very much focused on his current team for now and wants to work with the team, he concluded.
