Who is Chase Carey?
Chase Carey is an Irish-American executive, who has worked for numerous top organisations in the media industry. He has previously worked for News Corp., 21st Century Fox, Sky, among others.
Since he took over at the helm of affairs of F1, he has helped reach it to all parts of the world. This is significant as Formula One was primarily seen as a white-dominated, European sport.
But now, races are being held all across the globe, the newest entrant being the Asian country Vietnam. Canadian Lance Stroll, Mexican Sergio Perez, Thai Alex Albon, are some of the non-European racers in the grid currently.
