Daniil Kvyat Crash: Alpha Tauri driver meets an unfortunate end to British Grand Prix, with an unexpected crash forcing him out.
Daniil Kvyat has probably had the worst day of his career, with him facing so many unprecedented setbacks on one single day. Earlier he was awarded a 5 position penalty for the gearbox violation.
And now he unexpectedly crashed into the barrier to force himself out of the race. The Russian racer was coming at a massive speed when his right rear deceived him and lost control of the car.
His car almost flipped to 180 degrees before hitting the barrier. From here, the tyres of his car came off and endured enough damage to not continue the race.
Immediately, the yellow flags were waved and the safety car came onto the track, it was a lengthy routine, with the safety car slowing down the race for nearly 7 laps.
But at least it made other cars stay close to hegemon Mercedes, who has been at the top of the race since the start, with no other car even near to surpass them.

Red Bull lacking the luck
Apart from Max Verstappen, rest of the Red Bull cars have been facing huge setbacks, during the race, Alex Albon also received a penalty at clashing into Kevin Magnussen, which forced him out of the race.
Currently, Albon is at the 14th spot, but will probably go to 16th-17th position for his 2-second penalty. Like rest, this race also seems like a cakewalk for Mercedes.
