F1 Fans Shell-Shocked as Sergio Perez Labels Lewis Hamilton as ‘Distrustful’ in Recent Game
Sergio Perez recently took part in a game where he was asked to state one word to describe his fellow F1 drivers, including himself. While the Mexican referred to himself as ‘handsome,’ two other references that caught the eye of fans were of Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton.
Perez labeled Leclerc as ‘polite,’ something that also most F1 fans agreed with. However, it was the description of Hamilton that left most fans confused. Since Perez labeled the Briton as ‘distrustful’, several fans wondered if the Mexican did not trust the Mercedes driver.

On similar lines, fans such as Clara pointed out that most people are ‘misinterpreting’ what Perez said about Hamilton. They believe that what Perez meant about Hamilton is that the Briton is ‘suspicious’ or ‘cautious’ about others and not that he does not trust the Mercedes driver.
i think some people are misinterpreting what he said about lewis. i think he means lewis is suspicious/cautious, not that he doesn’t trust lewis 😭

And then there were some other fans such as Laila who believe that Perez got his descriptions ‘spot on’.

Perez loses further ground in his title battle with Verstappen
Sergio Perez suffered a massive blow in his championship fight with Max Verstappen as he failed to win the Miami Grand Prix this past weekend despite starting on pole. He finished the race in second, behind Verstappen, who won the race all the way back from ninth.
Following this result, Perez fell further behind Verstappen in the championship. Coming into the Miami GP, Perez was just six points behind the Dutchman and now he is 14. Hence, as a result of this massive disappointment, Perez will once again have it all to do if he is to pose a real fight to the Dutchman in the championship.
