As a Ferrari driver, surely Charles Leclerc gets paid a heft salary, enough for some luxury and comfort. But his fans have recently questioned Leclerc’s utilization of this large amount of money.
You’d think as a millionaire, Leclerc would lead a comfortable, luxurious life. And he does. Collecting Richard Mille watches like coins and driving multi-million Ferrari cars like its Hot Wheels.
So, when fans spotted Leclerc walking around the paddock with a broken iPhone, they were left scratching their heads. Broken would be an understatement. Surely a small crack in the screen or on the glass back is acceptable. He’s only human. But, no. The phone is held together by stickers, as it’s quite clearly in its final stages.
A simple $20 phone case could have saved the shattered piece of technology and the speechless fans could only come up with that as the solution.

Leclerc’s phone stirred quite a hubbub on Twitter as fans couldn’t help but wonder why the phone looked like it had been to war and back. Fans even recalled the great extent he went to retrieve a lost AirPod in the airport, but then completely neglected his phone.

The simple solution of a phone case to prevent all this in the first place baffled the masses. Fans even went so far to send phone case suggestions. All Leclerc has to do is press ‘buy’. But it might be too late…

Normalizing broken screens, the least one can hope for is some air-tight Apple Care on his belongings. With the lost AirPods and a beat-up iPhone 14 Pro, the man surely needs some. And maybe a brand deal with a phone case company.
With almost $125 million in the bag, a new phone shouldn’t be a problem. But Leclerc has other things to worry about. As the championship slips further away from him, five races into the season he stands 7th in the championship. An 85-point deficit does not speak to Leclerc’s capabilities. With a long season ahead of him, one can only hope for a strong bounce back.
