Girlfriend Kelly Piquet Suggests Max Verstappen Should Join 'Outlaw Motorbike Club' After Surprising Revelation

Max Verstappen is among the richest sports personalities in the world. Yet, his girlfriend Kelly Piquet gives him a bizarre suggestion after she gets to know something she never had an idea about.

The very first few minutes of Anatomy of a Champion, a docuseries by Viaplay extensively covering Verstappen‘s life, reveal an unknown fact about the Red Bull star. While talking to the car driver that was taking Verstappen to get an honorary award from the Dutch crown, he revealed to Kelly Piquet that he owns a Harley Davidson.

“I have a Harley, in Holland,” reveals Verstappen at the start of Episode 1. “For what?” asks Piquet in surprise. “Maybe to put it in the living room. Maybe, better, in a few years, I have time to ride it with my fat belly on the tank you know,” Verstappen answers back.

Kelly Piquet suggests Max Verstappen should join the outlaw bike club

Piquet was absolutely surprised but, at the same time, amused after learning something new about her boyfriend. While Verstappen was joking about what he could do with the beast of a bike, Piquet suggests the Red Bull star should join the outlaw bike club- Hells Angels.

It is a worldwide motorbike club that was started in the United States. All group members only ride Harley Davidson, and one of their branches is in Monaco too.

So, Verstappen, who lives in Monaco with all the luxuries, would have easy access to them. But as of now, he is dedicated to his motorsport career.

An inspiration for young Dutch children

Despite being a motorsport-loving nation, the Netherlands never saw major success in F1. Whereas its neighboring country Germany produced multiple champions: Michael Schumacher, Sebastian Vettel, and Nico Rosberg.

But only at the end of the last decade, the small European country started to have substantial hope in Verstappen. However, a similar thing was expected two decades back from his father, Jos Verstappen. But a string of bad luck always kept the former Benetton driver in surviving mode in F1 and never allowed him to vie for the title.

But the Red Bull star was different. A generational talent and took the entire sport by storm. He reignited his compatriots’ love for the racing series, and now, the Dutch GP is undoubtedly one of the most aesthetic race events of the season.

In 2022, when Verstappen received the title of officer in the Order of Orange-Nassau, he was told that young kids now aspire to be like him. Indeed, the two-time world champion is bringing a massive cultural change in his country’s motorsport.
