Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen have been the most dominant drivers in F1 in the past decade but the same would not be possible for them if they participate in Formula E, claims Oliver Rowland.
Rowland who drives for Mahindra Racing in the all-electric series believes that F1 drivers would not win that easily if they were to compete in Formula E.
Only Jean-Eric Vergne has been able to clinch two back-to-back titles in Formula E.

Max Verstappen is a standout driver because he is winning
Speaking at the inaugural race of the 2023 Formula E season in Mexico, Rowland praised his fellow drivers for their strength.
The one-time E-Prix winner said that if any of the Formula 1 driver would participate in FE they would not dominate.
Furthermore, Rowland said that he can make this claim with such surety because he has raced against them in the junior categories and knows their level.
The Briton rates Charles Leclerc and George Russell above Max Verstappen despite the Dutchman being a standout driver.
Rowland feels that the average in Formula E is better than F1.
“I would say the average here [in Formula E] is better [than F1]. I would welcome them [F1 drivers] here any time.” – Formula E racer Oliver Rowland

Rowland could have denied Charles Leclerc’s F2 championship
Leclerc and Rowland were rivals in F2 in 2017 and as the season ended the Monegasque came out at the top winning the championship.
Soon after that, he moved to F1 with the Sauber F1 team in 2018 followed by his promotion to Ferrari in 2019.
Rowland has, however, claimed that Leclerc would not have been able to clinch his F2 title if things had gone right for the Briton. Recalling his years in F2, Rowland said that he was DSQd in the last race of the season and three more times over the season.
Moreover, the Mahindra racing driver also claimed that after Leclerc he also raced against Alex Albon. He respects the talents of the drivers who made their move to F1 but he also admits that he could have battled against them pretty well.
