Taking to their Twitter handles, both Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc uploaded a video, where they gave their thoughts about shooting for the cover of the F1 2023 game. The Dutchman said that it was an ‘amazing’ opportunity for him to be on the cover for the game and something that he was extremely proud of.

While Verstappen’s video was fairly simple, Leclerc was involved in a more extravagant shoot for the F1 2023 game. The 25-year-old shot a classy video in his hometown of Monaco for EA Sports.

Speaking of it, he said, “It feels really really special again to be on the cover. When I was younger I was playing the video game and I was dreaming of being one day in that game and now I am on the cover“.

Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc have contrasting starts to the 2023 season

Reigning Drivers’ Champion Max Verstappen seems to have carried on his form from last year as he has registered two wins and two second-place finishes after the first four races of the season so far. Consequently of his results, he has scored 93 points and he leads the championship by six points from his Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez.

On the other hand, although Charles Leclerc produced a much-improved performance in the last race in Baku with an outstanding second-place finish, his races prior were nothing short of a disaster. The Monegasque had two DNFs and a sixth-place finish after the first three races of the new season and found himself tenth in the championship.

However, his podium finish in the last race helped him move up to sixth in the championship with 28 points, just six points behind his Ferrari teammate Carlos Sainz. Following the conclusion of an exciting Azerbaijan Grand Prix, both Verstappen and Leclerc will next be in action later this weekend in Miami.
