Max Verstappen’s Girlfriend Kelly Piquet Roasted as a Cockroach Over Met Gala Absence

While Max Verstappen gets ready for a hectic month ahead, Kelly Piquet has been enjoying some time off in New York and attending some pre-Met Gala parties. This led to a lot of speculations about the Louis Vuitton model making an appearance for the greatest night in fashion.

The Daily Mail reported that Piquet had been spotted on the streets of New York, strutting to Met events. Thus, fans had mixed feelings about the Vogue cover model attending the event. However, the anticipation was at an all-time high.

Thus as celebrities, including F1’s very own, Daniel Ricciardo, made their way up the iconic Met stairs, Piquet was missing. Instead, a small cockroach went viral for making its way up the carpet. As the small insect caught cameras, fans couldn’t help but mock Verstappen’s girlfriend.

Fans go wild mocking Kelly Piquet

Connecting the dots between the missing Kelly Piquet and the viral cockroach, fans chose to insult the model. Fans from around the world had just one thing to say“kelly piquet finally showed up.”

These tweets quickly became a hit, as other fans couldn’t help but laugh along at the quick wit.

Max Verstappen still represented at the Met?

While his girlfriend didn’t make it to the Met steps, in her true form, his best friend sure did. Daniel Ricciardo had jaws dropping with his surprise Met appearance for Thom Browne.

Being a reserve driver has its perks, and for Ricciardo, that means having some extra time on his hands. With this newfound free time, the Australian has taken the opportunity to showcase his fashion sense on one of the most famous red carpets in the world of fashion.
