Red Bull ace Max Verstappen is one of the many drivers who enjoy their downtime sitting behind the screen of sim races.
Verstappen, who is an avid sim racer also partakes in multiple virtual events to stay at the top of his game. He even revealed that sim racing helps him develop skills that he draws experience from in real-life F1 racing as well.
Recently, the Dutchman participated in the virtual 24 hours of Le Mans but his race was interrupted multiple times due to technical issues.
Eventually, Verstappen retired from the event and frustratingly commented about it while streaming live calling the event a clown show and even saying that he would never participate again.

Max Verstappen has a sim set-up in the air
Following the events of the virtual race, Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko was asked if the Dutchman would really never partake in any other sim racing events in the future.
Marko said that the Dutchman is planning quite the opposite. He revealed that Verstappen has even got his $15 Million jet converted so that he can have the fun of sim racing in the air going ahead.
Furthermore, the Austrian said that the 2-time champion’s love for virtual racing is a good thing; a good distraction as it does not come in the way of him winning titles.

Verstappen angry after Le Mans
Verstappen’s video of lashing out at the organisers of virtual Le Mans went viral. His run in the race was massively hurt by the technical problems in the game and soon it saw the 2-time F1 champion retire.
The Red Bull ace said that this is just the incompetence of the team to not be able to control their own game. It was the third time that the driver had been affected by the server issues in the game.
He even added that he has more chances of winning a game in a Vegas casino than winning in a virtual racing game. Verstappen further went on to suggest his viewers uninstall the game and free up a bit of space in their PCs.
