Max Verstappen is willing to break a leg despite Red Bull ban

Newly crowned 2-time world champion Max Verstappen wants to race in other motor series, apart from F1 as well.

Verstappen’s current contract with the Red Bull will run until the 2028 season and the 25-year-old has revealed unwillingness to keep on racing even at the age of 40.

He believes that there are multiple other things to try out and he wants to do that. Verstappen is currently focused on his F1 career but speaking about future he revealed his interest in endurance racing.

But there is one that he wants to try now, Moto GP. Sadly, Red Bull doesn’t allow their F1 ace to go racing a bike.

Max Verstappen wants to break a leg

Speaking to Moto GP’s 6-time world champion Marc Marquez, the Dutchman revealed that he wants to try racing bikes one day.

The Moto GP rider questioned Verstappen why is he not allowed to and argued that now that the season is over, he has enough time.

To which, Verstappen said, “Yes I can break a leg now.”

Verstappen reveals the unique qualities of Marquez

For Honda Racing Thanks Day, Marquez and Verstappen were present in Japan for a demo run on Motorbikes and F1 cars.

Later the two listed each other’s unique qualities. Verstappen said that Marquez is a fighter and he never gives up. While listing three words to describe the driver, he said, ‘Ambitious, Talented and Killer.”

Similarly, Marquez named Verstappen’s ability to manage pressure as one of his main traits. “Many drivers are fast and talented, but in the race on the day to manage all the pressure is the most difficult thing.”
